The Role

We are seeking a Technical Knowledge Management Expert to develop and maintain a global chemical knowledge management system, ensuring functionality and validation. As an adviser, you will provide technical expertise, consultancy, and programming solutions to enhance efficiency in R&D and knowledge management workflows.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing projects from initiation to implementation, addressing issues and collaborating with customers and stakeholders. Additionally, you will mentor team members and train new staff on nomenclature processes and best practices around the global chemical knowledge management system.

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD in information sciences; chemistry or biochemistry specialization is a plus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in knowledge management, innovation, or digitalization, including management roles.
  • Conceptual and analytical skills, with good knowledge of SQL, and proficiency in content management systems, MS Office, DMS, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, information security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with a structured, reliable work style.
  • Service- and team-oriented, flexible, and able to manage uncertainty and stress effectively.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (CHF 70,000 - CHF 110,000)
