As a Quality Assurance Expert in Visp, you will be responsible for the ISO PQM, Food, Feed, Cosmetic and Aerospace quality related activities within the assigned site. This includes enhancing the various quality system processes that support and drive continuous improvement activities / initiatives to realize efficiencies and cost reductions within Arxada.

Key responsibilities:

- Provides guidance and maintenance of activities to ensure the manufacture and delivery of Arxada products on time
- Responsible for quality master data maintenance and accuracy in Quality IT systems
- Ensuring generation of effective Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) Generation and maintenance of specifications quality IT systems
- Provides product manager and customer support on review, discussion, and finalize Quality agreements and ensures completion in a mutually agreed time frame
- Ensure Customer complaints and change notifications are investigated adequately and completed/reported to the customer and internally in a timely manner
- Achieve other quality process-related projects or initiatives as required by the company e.g. support
- Guarantee that any vendor complaints/change notifications are handled in accordance with Lonza procedures and resolved in a timely manner
- Provide organization, direction, support, and active follow-up of any “regulatory, customer or internal audits, and also any Lonza external audits e.g. suppliers/tollers (as applicable).
- Actively analyze KPI trends, performance metrics, customer complaints, vendor performance, etc to establish a compliant and continuous improvement culture.

Key requirements:

- Bachelor of Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)
- Substantial experience in Quality/Regulatory Affairs/Manufacturing related position, preferably in a Chemical company
- Works in partnership as an active member of the team and cross-functional working groups
- Quality Certified (CQM/OE, CQE, CQA, LSS, etc.) you are experienced in Process Optimization
- Demonstrated ability in cross-cultural as well as cross-functional leadership specific to the area/site of accountability
- Strong interpersonal, organization, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
- Result-oriented, proactive, and able to handle complexity
- Excellent communication in English and in German
