We are seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical Engineer to join our team at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. As a development and integration expert, you will be responsible for developing and integrating complex mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate complex mechanical systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FAR/EASA-CS 23)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project teams and motivate them to achieve project goals
  • Support the development and improvement of various mechanical systems and components

Requirements:

  • University Degree in aeronautical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following aircraft mechanical systems: electromechanical actuation, air conditioning system, electronic control system etc.
  • Knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23 and RTCA DO-160, -178, -254, SAE ARP 4754A and ARP 4761
  • Proven strong project & supplier management skills and excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical problems
  • Excellent communication skills with a multinational working environment: Good written and spoken English is essential (CEFR Level C2 or IELTS 8), knowledge of German advantageous
