Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the development and improvement of various mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading mechanical systems engineering projects to ensure timely completion and motivating project teams.
  • Supporting the development and improvement of mechanical systems and components.
  • Defining, validating, and verifying requirements to meet regulatory standards (FAR/EASA-CS 23).
  • Providing technical liaison and vendor management for external suppliers of systems and components.
  • Creating test reports and certification documents.
  • Assisting with aircraft production and in-service technical queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Minimum five years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electromechanical actuation, air conditioning systems, electronic control systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23 and RTCA DO-160, -178, -254, SAE ARP 4754A, and ARP 4761.
  • Proven project and supplier management skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including good written and spoken English (CEFR Level C2 or IELTS 8), with knowledge of German an advantage.
