We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our innovative team at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting cyber security for the development and certification of Aircraft Systems. This includes preparing the Plan for Security Aspects of Certification (PSec AC) and presenting it to the Certification Authorities, defining the Security Scope, and performing the Security Risk Assessment, including security requirements definition (SAL).

You will also support the Security Development with security architecture concept, security measures, and the security effectiveness assurance, including preparation of penetration tests and analysis of the results. Additionally, you will support discussions with Certification Authorities and Suppliers and contribute to the Continued Airworthiness of Cyber Security aspects, such as assessment of new vulnerabilities and definition of corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in aerospace engineering or electronics/software engineering with knowledge in Guidance on Security Event Management (EUROCAE ED-206)
  • Experience with using ED-202 A, ED-203 A, ED-204 A to develop and certify systems on civil aircraft Part 25 or Part 23 as well as security threats analysis methods and tools
  • Highly beneficial experience in design of airborne avionics (AEH or critical software applications) and in computer networks architectures along with communication protocols
  • Fluency in English (at least C1), German would be an advantage
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility in the approach, work autonomously and find solutions
