nanoTRONIC AG, an innovative Swiss engineering company, seeks a seasoned Senior Systems Architect to drive technical projects forward.

With a strong background in highly regulated industries, this role will provide development services to internationally oriented customers.

Our expertise spans sectors such as space, medical technology, and railways. We build ground support equipment and spacecraft subsystems for high-profile space missions.

As a team player in interdisciplinary project teams, you will combine know-how and experience on mechanics, electronics, microelectronics, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical projects and plan design, development, and verification activities.
  • Define and manage requirements in all project phases.
  • Define system concepts in cooperation with customers, based on their requirements.
  • Define system architectures, specifications, and interfaces.
  • Prepare and maintain system-level budgets.
  • Support the development process in all project phases from design to verification and validation.
  • Ensure compliance with high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (BSc, MSc) in electrical/electronics engineering, software engineering, or similar.
  • Min. 6+ years of experience as a System Engineer for embedded systems.
  • Good working knowledge of electronic, software, and mechanical interfaces and related architectures.
  • Quick comprehension, analytical skills, team spirit, and a project-oriented working style.
  • Ability to find fast and target-oriented solutions.
  • Working proficiency in English required; knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
  • Experience in the space industry is a plus.
