Data Loss Prevention Security Specialist

Your Challenge

  • Design and implement security solutions to prevent data loss and ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain standardized testing procedures and system changes for ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Contribute to the research and design of alternative security solutions that reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders to keep them informed of incident progress and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Participate in security product and skill training for personal and team growth.
  • Plan and coordinate Change Management, Release, and Go-Live activities.
  • Perform upgrades, application tuning, and infrastructure changes.
  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for DLP platforms within the organization.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for Database Activity Monitoring platforms within the organization.
  • Work with vendors to implement and support the platforms, including troubleshooting and upgrading.
  • Maintain the platforms, configure policies, and compile reports for analytics.
  • Collaborate on the DLP rule development lifecycle, including policy development, response rules, and maintenance.
  • Be willing to work on-call 7/24.

Your Profile

  • Be a highly proactive, solution-oriented individual with good abstract and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Have a highly structured and goal-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Be able to independently assess and prioritize resolution of outstanding tasks and requests.
  • Contribute to the development of architecture, concepts, and processes related to security platforms.
  • Be able to work closely with multiple application and business teams.
  • Have higher professional education or comparable education with relevant practical knowledge.
  • Have basic scripting experience with one or more of the following: PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell.
  • Have experience working with GIT, SQL, REST, and Regular Expressions.
  • Knowledge of Symantec DLP, Zscaler DLP, and Imperva Secure Sphere is an advantage.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English (B2) and have good knowledge of German.
