We are currently seeking a skilled flow cytometry expert to join our SCF team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience operating and maintaining flow cytometry instrumentation and be eager to contribute to our dynamic and international research environment.
Job DescriptionThe flow cytometry expert will be responsible for all aspects of flow cytometry sorter and analyzer operation, including quality control and maintenance. They will also provide training, user support, and expert advice on experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results. Additionally, they will contribute to the organization of logistical aspects of the service schedule.
Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for an individual with hands-on experience with state-of-the-art flow cytometry equipment, knowledge of quantitative cell analysis, and high-speed cell sorting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of optical principles and practical skills in hardware maintenance and tuning. Previous experience with spectral analysis is essential. We welcome applications from candidates with technical and academic backgrounds relevant to the field of flow cytometry.
This position requires excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with researchers and a commitment to adapt to the service-oriented nature of the facility. In addition to strong technical skills, the successful candidate must be an excellent team player and able to thrive in a diverse working environment.
