Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Business Partner to join our team at DSM. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will work closely with our Health, Nutrition & Care Business Units to identify, assess, and manage risks that impact our strategic goals.

About the Role

  • Design, implement, and maintain the main elements of our Risk & Compliance Framework in the respective unit.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and risk awareness programs to increase Risk maturity.
  • Organize and lead risk-related meetings.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and drive the execution of the Risk Management year plan.
  • Facilitate and perform Risk Assessments in specific areas.
  • Coordinate the Risk & Incident reporting process.
  • Work closely with risk owners to provide risk oversight, challenge, and advise on key decisions, participate in key projects, and proactively signal trends and related potential (new) risks.

Requirements

  • Masters in finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or other relevant major.
  • Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
  • Basic understanding of internal control and internal auditing.
  • Business understanding and partnering (Problem-solving mindset and skills; can-do mentality; influencing without authority; showing co-ownership).
  • Stakeholder management (engaging with senior leaders; creating buy-in).
  • Communication & presentation skills.
