Corporate EHS Strategy Manager

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate EHS Strategy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our EHS department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our corporate EHS strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead our global EHS audit program and ensure that it is aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust EHS audit program that meets the needs of key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead global EHS audits and ensure that they are supported by strategic long-range planning, budget planning, subject matter expertise, audit scoping, audit execution, and communication.
  • Partner with the EHS Management Systems Lead to ensure compliance and maintain Group ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Manage external third-party registrars and consultants to conduct surveillance and certification audits.
  • Provide thought leadership for compliance auditing and management systems assessments.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in EHS, including experience as an audit lead/auditor.
  • ISO Lead Auditor training.
  • Excellent knowledge of EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PSM, etc.) and technical topics (safety, environment, health).
  • Experience working in a global matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
