**Associate Director, Supply Chain Management**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Biologics & Steriles External Manufacturing team at Bristol-Myers Squibb. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing success of the Tolling Model between Bristol Myers Squibb and Contract Manufacturing Organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, select and manage Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure seamless collaboration and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Virtual Plant Team Leadership: Establish and lead the Virtual Plant Team model to drive continuous improvement and optimize business relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Act as a primary point of contact for all business collaborations, ensuring timely performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Quality and Compliance: Collaborate with Quality Operations to ensure compliance with quality system and regulatory guidelines.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate on forecasting, production planning, and supply chain business process activities to ensure continuity of supply and avoidance of back-orders.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify supply risks and create strategies to avoid or minimize their impact.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory risk assessment process for inventory located at manufacturing sites.
  • Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional teams in implementing and managing processes between BMS, internal sites, and CMOs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or related industry.
  • Skills: Strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and rapid decision-making skills. Ability to negotiate and influence without authority in complex, high-impact situations.
  • Certifications: Certification in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools.
