Public Affairs Strategist

Establish a dynamic role at Santen, driving impactful public affairs initiatives across Europe. With our expanding presence in the region, we seek a highly skilled and ambitious Public Affairs Intern to support key projects and contribute to the strategic development of our public affairs activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ongoing public affairs projects, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams
  • Develop stakeholder mappings, coordinate outreach efforts, and track engagement activities to enhance our public affairs impact
  • Support the preparation for and participation in cross-functional meetings to drive project success
  • Pursue innovative ideas for new public affairs initiatives, refining existing strategies through collaborative brainstorming sessions
  • Leverage strong communication skills to draft compelling content for internal articles, social media, and other channels promoting our public affairs activities
  • Assist with day-to-day business needs, applying a proactive approach to address emerging challenges

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a master's degree in European Studies, International Relations, Public Policy, Public Health, or a related field
  • Fluent English (verbal/written), with knowledge of other European languages considered an asset
  • Deep understanding of European public policy and the structure and functions of the European Union, with health policy knowledge a plus
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including creating engaging presentations with MS PowerPoint
  • Able to adapt quickly to new challenges and consistently meet deadlines
