Financial Operations Director

SAM International GmbH, a multinational company headquartered in Fribourg, Switzerland, seeks an experienced Financial Operations Director to drive financial excellence across the organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and developing strategies to optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability
  • Lead a team of financial professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing recommendations to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in Big 4 or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, SAGE X3, and IBM PA
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Pleasant English language proficiency, additional languages an asset
