Strategic Leader for Enterprise Systems and Processes

The Opportunity
You will play a key strategic leadership role in implementing a forward-thinking API platform vision, collaborating across teams to deliver a platform solution that aligns with CSL's business goals. This role will require you to leverage modern application patterns and frameworks to facilitate seamless application-to-application transactional workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a continuously improving integration platform that provides the necessary infrastructure for delivering critical application production workloads.
- Ensure quality, security, and efficiency of integration points, with a focus on user journey and experience impact.
- Lead with an agile mindset to achieve overall platform goals, ensuring operational resiliency and high levels of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and recoverability for integration points.
The Role
As the Director of Integration Platforms and Strategy, you will maintain overall accountability for the strategy and support of the integration platform. This will involve collaborating with other engineering teams across the enterprise to ensure requirements are met for transactional workflows, driving innovation, best practices, and standardized patterns in the integration space.
Talent Development
You will be responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining critical talent, modernizing our delivery and development methodologies to align with a platform delivery mindset. This will also involve providing mentorship and guidance to directs and the broader technology delivery organization.
Financial Accountability
You will ensure accurate financial budgets are observed across your programs and cost centers, serving as a model of financial stewardship for your team.
Product and Agile Execution Shift
You will define the product solution portfolio and bring business and technology stakeholders on the journey of change, promoting industry best practices and setting a high bar of standards.
Technology Expert
You will stay up to date on current trends in the industry and within the technology landscape, leveraging this knowledge to lead improvements and value for the enterprise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, with a preferred focus in Computer Science or a related field.
- 12+ years of application development leadership experience.
- 8+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development.
- 8+ years of experience architecting and building solutions within public cloud providers, specifically with AWS and/or Azure.
- 8+ years of experience architecting and building solutions that use Kafka, API Gateway, Service Mesh technologies.
- 5+ years of experience delivering solutions in regulated environments at a global scale.
