Senior Financial Analyst

G-20 Group is a leader in integrating traditional financial strategies with cryptocurrency assets, managing complex financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to focus on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for our Swiss-based and potentially overseas entities.

This role is vital to managing financial reporting and ensuring adherence to Swiss accounting regulations, including Swiss GAAP and IFRS. You will be responsible for maintaining robust financial operations and supporting the company's ongoing growth within Switzerland's regulatory framework.

Our team operates in a collaborative, flat structure, working together to build the gold standard in digital investment accounting and finance. You will work cross-functionally with other departments, such as Operations and our Trading Teams, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end close procedures for Swiss-based entities, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS, adhering to the specific financial regulations governing Swiss entities.
  • Ensure Swiss-based revenue is correctly accounted for.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience within a complex organisation, preferably with Swiss-based companies or multinational firms.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and Swiss GAAP/IFRS.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent designation.
  • Experience working with cryptocurrency accounting.
  • Working knowledge of Swiss regulatory standards and IFRS.
  • Previous experience with Big 4 or large regional accounting firms.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting.

This position is based in Zug or Zurich, Switzerland.
