The Position- Manage operational activities in Downstream manufacturing, including tech transfer support, material planning, document preparation, training, and deviation handling.
- Lead an interdisciplinary team of production personnel, supervisors, and specialists, ensuring project performance and results.
- Guide and support commercial manufacturing in defined DSP areas, such as capture, intermediate purification, polishing, or drug substance filling.
To ensure efficient operation of single-use and/or stainless steel equipment for therapeutic protein purification from mammalian expression systems.
Requirements- Bachelor's, Master's Degree, or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Life Science subjects.
- At least 5 years' experience in Downstream Processing Manufacturing in the biotech/biopharma industry, including chromatography, ultra-/diafiltration, and final filling.
- In-depth knowledge of downstream processing techniques like chromatography and TFF.
- Excellent GMP understanding.
- Strong communication skills in English and/or German.
- Team-oriented and proactive approach to work, constantly seeking solutions.
