About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Specialist to join our team at Geneva English School. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching designated subjects to students, preparing resources, and ensuring academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach subjects on the timetable, prepare resources, and ensure student success in exams.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire others, generating enthusiasm for the subject among students and colleagues.
  • Audit, manage, and develop suitable resources for teaching and learning.
  • Plan, implement, and review schemes of work and assessment for the subject, considering opportunities for links across the curriculum and spiritual, moral, social, and cultural education.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning, supporting and advising colleagues, and sharing good practice.
  • Keep abreast of educational developments, strengthening knowledge, understanding, and expertise.
  • Take an active role in pastoral care, monitoring behavior, relationships, personal, and social development.

Requirements:

  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons, ideally in an international school setting.
  • Fluent English language skills, strong verbal and written communication.
  • Sound knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Recent experience in a high-performing Secondary school.
  • Confident liaison with the wider community, including external professionals and parents.
