About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, International Relations. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping our company's regulatory strategy and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies for priority regulatory policy issues that impact our business and operations globally.
  • Work closely with our Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Compliance teams to identify key external stakeholders and develop effective engagement strategies.
  • Lead external advocacy discussions with industry groups and coordinate with our Regulatory and Public Affairs team to ensure that our subject matter experts are prepared to communicate our policy positions.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to coordinate engagement activities with trade associations and other industry groups on key topics.
  • Support the preparation of communications to stakeholders through various modes of communication, including reports, educational summaries, and trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science, engineering, health, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Public or Regulatory Affairs, with a strong working knowledge of global regulations.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with global regulatory and policy-making bodies, coordinating activities across regions, and engaging with private sector, public sector, and civil society.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate organizational needs into strategy, leveraging internal experts, external partners, and coalitions to advance policy positions and inform stakeholder actions.
