Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Medela. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our production site in Baar.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and monitor manufacturing costs to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and update ERP-related parameters to ensure standard costings are accurate.
- Analyze variances from standard costs and budget to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly results for Operations Medela.
- Optimize controlling processes and collaborate on exciting projects to drive business growth.
- Advise and support the Operations department in preparing investment proposals and business cases to increase productivity and cost efficiency.
- Analyze monthly purchase price performance to inform business decisions.
- Manage accruals as part of the monthly close for production-related cost centers.
- Collaborate with the inventory team during regular cycle counts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject area.
- At least three years of experience in Operations Controlling in a manufacturing company.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Experience in S4 HANA (SAP) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and proactive personality with a desire to develop further.
- Power BI and Cognos experience is an advantage.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data in a structured, systematic, and accurate manner.
- Ability to manage and translate complex topics to non-finance team members.
