Production Controller

As a Production Controller at Medela, you will act as a key business partner for our production site in Baar. Your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate financial management and control of manufacturing costs. To achieve this, you will utilize your strong business understanding and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculating standard costings and monitoring manufacturing costs
  • Maintaining and updating ERP-related parameters to ensure accurate standard costings
  • Creating reports and analyzing variances from standard costs and budget
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly results for Operations Medela
  • Optimizing controlling processes and collaborating on exciting projects
  • Advising and supporting the Operations department in preparing investment proposals and business cases
  • Supporting in analyzing monthly purchase price performance
  • Managing accruals as part of the monthly close for production-related cost centers
  • Collaborating with the inventory team during regular cycle counts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject area
  • At least three years of experience in Operations Controlling in a manufacturing company
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory
  • Experience in S4 HANA (SAP) is an advantage
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data in a structured and systematic manner
  • Ability to manage and translate complex topics to non-finance team members
