Job Summary

Your mission at Climeworks is to spearhead the company's safety vision, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic safety plans and policies that align with Climeworks' growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic HSSE plans and policies across the organization.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies in all jurisdictions where Climeworks operates.
  • Ensure safety standards are upheld by Climeworks' vendors.
  • Establish, design, and implement safety programs for Climeworks' production facilities, construction sites, test facilities, and corporate workplace.
  • Train and sustain safety programs developed by the team.
  • Provide executive reporting of safety statistics and actions taken.

Requirements
  • You hold a bachelor's degree or higher in health safety or a related field, along with an internationally recognized safety certification.
  • You possess 10+ years of industry work experience.
  • You have experience in the relevant industry.
  • You have expertise in corporate workplace safety.
  • You specialize in construction safety and excel in production safety.
  • You prioritize health & well-being.
  • You demonstrate awareness of COHS (Corporate Occupational Health and Safety).
  • You provide direct and clear instructions.
  • You value teamwork and emphasize clear communication.
  • You are proficient in English.
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%.
