About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Global Communication Specialist to join our team at the University of Zurich.


As a key member of our Global Dialogues team, you will be responsible for enhancing the visibility of our research and global impact by engaging with international audiences.


Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing communication and visibility measures, creating and curating engaging content for our website and social media channels, and developing new channels to engage with our stakeholders.


You will work closely with internal partners, particularly the central communications team, as well as external partners, to achieve targeted outreach and analyze the performance data of digital channels.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science/International Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent in German and English, with proficiency in other languages an asset.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to craft engaging texts.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication campaigns.
  • Experience with creative graphic design software and Content Management Systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working on projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Positive attitude to new challenges, eager to learn, and comfortable navigating the international academic arena and university environment.
