Your Role: Compliance Risk and Governance Manager
You will be responsible for supporting the Compliance COO in establishing and managing the Unit's governance, budgeting, and organisational processes. This includes ensuring that Compliance has the necessary resources to operate effectively and defining the transformation agenda for the Compliance unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain solid governance for the Compliance unit, aligning with the Bank's Governance framework.
- Oversee the production of Compliance reports to governing committees and regulatory bodies.
- Act as the key point of contact for Compliance management information.
- Partner with the Compliance Management team to optimise the Unit's effectiveness and enhance communication.
- Oversee the resolution of formal issues assigned to Compliance, including those from regulators, auditors, and internal control frameworks.
- Ensure alignment and compliance with internal business and risk policies and guidelines.
- Represent Compliance in Group forums and projects, ensuring perfect alignment and integration with the Bank's strategic vision.
- Lead continuous improvements initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Law, Business Management, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in a comparable role in Financial Services, Audit, and/or Consulting.
- Sound understanding of Corporate Governance and Risk Frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to summarise complex topics, drive practical outcomes, and make sound recommendations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and against short deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to foster productive relationships and build consensus with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent in English and French.
- Resident in Switzerland.
