Associate Director, Operations Portfolio Lead

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Operations Portfolio Lead to join our team at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational oversight, leadership, and execution for a portfolio of work. You will drive operational strategy and planning for assigned portfolios, provide oversight of clinical studies, and represent the GDO Strategy organization as a participating member of the Development and/or Medical Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business strategy from an operational perspective and account for study execution within established timelines, budget, and quality parameters.
- Act as the primary escalation point for all operational issues and participate in necessary governing forums.
- Identify improvement opportunities and bring forward best practices to support study execution within the portfolio and across the broader organization.
- Proactively partner with cross-functional counterparts and external vendors to address issues and concerns.
- Account for financial stewardship of programs and work in close partnership with Finance.
- Minimum 8 years of global experience in clinical drug development or other related experience.
- Broad clinical operational experience, including registration and/or post-approval.
- Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH, drug development process, and other relevant guidelines for clinical research activities.
- Experience leading global clinical research activities and proficient project management skills.
- Strong presentation skills and financial acumen.
