**Position**: Associate Director, Business Operations
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead a comprehensive program in collaboration with Global Quality to establish, monitor, and optimize GQ metrics (leading and lagging) and the necessary infrastructure for governance, reporting, and visibility.
- Maintain and develop Visualization Tools, Dashboards, and PowerApps to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Provide direction and critical input for setting, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) across Global Quality.
- Analyze quality performance data to proactively identify emerging trends and ensure timely review and analysis of performance and risk.
- Collaborate with Global Quality pillars to identify emerging trends and develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement and compliance.
- Partner with Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) and IT to implement innovative data analytics and technology solutions for metric monitoring, visualization, analysis, and reporting.
- Drive SMART budget and resource management needs, in alignment with Finance frameworks.
- Develop financial and resource management metrics and tools to manage departmental operational expenses within budget allocations.
- Serve as the Global Quality point of contact for Finance and Resource Management, establishing efficient Ways of Working between GQ S&BE and GPS Finance.
- Assess capacity to support Workplan Forecast and administer Resource Management tools in collaboration with Program Management Lead.
- Manage resource alignment and allocation, proactively signaling budget requirements.
- Facilitate the tools for Tier 2 Quality Council for Manufacturing and Supply Chain, including agenda planning, metrics collection, automation, and follow-up actions.
- Partner with the program management pillar and facilitate the budget process between Finance and internal sites.
- Manage communications related to business operations and quality matters.
- Manage the multi-year budget and forecast in alignment with Finance and Procurement, tracking spend and headcount associated with GQ owned programs.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related discipline. A master's or advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical/life sciences industries, with a background in Business Operations, Business Insights & Analytics, or Finance-related roles.
- Knowledge and experience in data analytics are highly preferred.
- Significant experience and a demonstrated track record of success in leading Budget Management, Continuous Improvement, and Business Insights & Analytics initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership skills in a matrix environment with proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams capable of effective cross-functional interaction.
- Strong and demonstrated strategic thinking capability with a proven track record of executing strategic decisions while balancing conflicting priorities.
- Exceptional executive-level written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to build alignment with senior-level business partners and effectively influence areas not under direct control to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects, balancing priorities, and meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement and external benchmarking.
- Expertise in developing and achieving key metrics and scorecards.
- Successful track record of building, leading, and maintaining high-performing and highly motivated teams, earning a reputation as a strong leader.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently while mentoring team members.
