Job Title: Regional Head of People Operations

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our HR team as Regional Head of People Operations. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Regional HR team, implementing process and system enhancements, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Regional HR team in its day-to-day activities
  • Supervise and coach team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across the teams
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and stay up-to-date with legislation changes
  • Optimize HR processes and tasks related to the employee lifecycle to ensure efficiency
  • Administer all HR operation processes, related systems, and documentation
  • Manage external providers and budgets related to HR operations
  • Manage complex HR operational concerns and act as the escalation point prior to Head of HR
  • Provide advice and instruction to employees on HR matters
  • Implement and drive process, policy, and document upgrades
  • Manage complex employee relation cases and legal matters, escalating more complex issues as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in HR Operations or a related field for at least 8-10 years with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team
  • Proven experience in managing projects relating to process, systems, and/or control improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effectively supporting and advising employees and businesses on HR matters
  • Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting
  • Experience in coaching more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred
