Proteomics Platform Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to shape the strategy of our Proteomics Core Technology Platform. As a key member of our 360 Labs leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the early implementation and growth of this platform within our Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development organization.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a strategic visionary, providing key guidance and oversight in the deployment and application of proteomics technologies across our organization.
- Develop and lead a matrix team with purpose, collaborating closely with our therapeutic areas and functions to prioritize and implement innovative scientific strategies to explore disease-relevant hypotheses leveraging proteomics approaches.
- Drive the continued evolution of the Proteomics 360 Technology Platform by innovating new workflows and approaches, staying up to date with the scientific literature, and actively engaging with the internal and external proteomics communities.
- Actively seek out opportunities to automate workflows, streamline processes to provide the most innovative solutions to enable automated, fast, accurate and high-throughput proteomics assays / readouts.
- Proven track record of engagement with senior leaders and key stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
- A PhD degree in biology, biochemistry or a related field with 10 years professional experience in an academic setting and / or pharmaceutical industry / biotech sector, with proven effective leadership of a proteomics-focused group being highly desired.
- In depth theoretical and hands-on knowledge of liquid chromatography mass spectrometry-based (LC-MS and LC-QTOF) technology platforms, proteomics data processing solutions, and their application to questions relating to target biology and biomarker discovery in biomedical research.
- Established track record of scientific accomplishments and successful collaborations documented via publications in high-impact scientific journals and presentations at international conferences.
- Expert knowledge in state of the art quantitative proteomics approaches (DIA, TMT and PRM), as well as strong awareness of next-generation technologies such as ultra sensitive, spatial and single cell proteomics.
- A strategic leader with an excellent understanding of the operations processes involved in early drug discovery & development, that can architect a compelling vision; serve as a coach to develop and mentor junior and senior team members; and act as a catalyst by leading by example.
- Curious with a growth mindset, are resourceful and flexible in problem solving, have excellent organizational skills, and can think outside the box and have a demonstrated ability to implement new ideas in a fast-paced research environment.
- Strong in your written communication and presentations skills, you continuously building a personal network and who will thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment which gives you full accountability for your own contributions and development.
