What we offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary of approximately €63,000 - €96,000, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive health insurance and access to our on-site nursery.

About the job

As a High-Energy Radiation Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing radiological risks at workplaces, elaborating dose prevention and minimisation measures, and performing radiation measurements in various high-energy fields.

You will work closely with the Radiation Protection Group to ensure that personnel on CERN sites and the public are protected from potentially harmful effects of ionizing radiation linked to CERN activities.

Required skills and qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in operational radiation protection, radiation protection instrumentation, and legislation
  • Proven skills in documenting radiological risk assessments and measurements
