Key Responsibilities
As Head Regulatory
- Develop and implement a coordinated regulatory approach across the SIX Group to ensure effective compliance with key regulations.
- Provide expert regulatory advice to non-business units.
- Manage key communications with regulators and national banks, preparing and accompanying regulatory meetings to ensure consistent communication.
- Contribute to the review process of consultations led by the Public Affairs' team.
- Adhere to the Legal & Regulatory function's standards and processes.
- Lead an international team of legal professionals and achieve budget objectives.
As a Member of the LLT
- Collaborate with the LLT to manage SIX Group's material legal and regulatory risks and initiatives.
- Work with the LLT to implement the Legal & Regulatory function's strategy and key initiatives.
- Represent SIX in external events, promoting the Legal & Regulatory function internally and externally.
- Act as a role model for SIX Values and the values of the legal profession.
Requirements
- You must be a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in financial services regulations.
- You should have experience in managing international teams responsible for regulatory matters.
- You are expected to have experience in establishing standards and processes across a group of legal entities regulated in different jurisdictions.
- We seek a leader with strong collaborative skills, attention to detail, and pragmatism.
- You must be fluent in English and German. Spanish is an asset.
