ESG Regulatory Expert Lead

We are seeking a seasoned ESG regulation expert to lead our Regulatory team as Head of Sustainability Advisory. The team is responsible for maintaining the Policy Outlook tool, a leading research service on sustainable finance and corporate responsibility regulation. The team also advises clients on a project and mandate basis.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Sustainability Advisory, you will:

  • lead and mentor a multicultural group of legal experts;
  • have ultimate responsibility for maintaining the Policy Outlook tool;
  • coordinate and contribute to the delivery of a portfolio of advisory projects linked to ESG regulations, including for international banks and insurers, asset managers, large corporates, and NGOs;
  • lead client calls and webinars;
  • represent ECOFACT as a subject matter expert at sustainability conferences and events;
  • significantly contribute to strategic decisions and the ongoing development of our product offering;
  • support business development efforts;
  • be part of ECOFACT's leadership team.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • at least a master's degree in law;
  • at least 10 years of working experience and 3 years' experience leading a team;
  • in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to sustainability and corporate responsibility;
  • financial industry experience;
  • fluent in English (spoken and written);
  • the ability to translate technical regulatory information into practical actions for our clients;
  • you enjoy presenting at conferences and on webinars;
  • you enjoy leading a team and mentoring others to fulfill their potential;
  • you enjoy engaging with clients and prospects;
  • you are comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in an agile environment;
  • a valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship.

  • advanced MS PowerPoint skills;
  • consulting experience;
