Swiss Corporate Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at STAEGER PERSONAL PARTNERS, a passionate business and recruiting partner for Commodity, LifeScience and Finance recruitment solutions national and international.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Swiss tax law and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an auditing and tax consultancy firm or inside an international company.
This newly created position offers the opportunity to further investigate complex tax matters and to make a valuable contribution to the daily operations of the company. As a key member of the tax team, you will be responsible for all Swiss corporate tax matters (direct and indirect taxes) of the group with the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and to gain valuable insights into the wealth management sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tax advice to business and finance teams on various tax-related matters.
- Develop and implement tax rulings and communicate with SFTA on these rulings.
- Calculate corporate income tax accruals and deferred tax positions for group reporting purposes.
- Monitor and assess possible Swiss tax risks, overall and per transaction.
- Prepare and submit tax returns/declarations regarding corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, and stamp duty.
- Track provisional and final corporate income tax invoices.
- Cooperate with Chief Tax Officer in the Netherlands in various international projects.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor or Master in a relevant field and have completed the Swiss tax expert diploma (Steuerexperte) or similar education. A strong knowledge of English (corporate language) and German is required, as well as proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel. Knowledge of accounting software Abacus is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of CHF 120,000 - 180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as attractive working conditions and a fantastic office in downtown Zug.
