Job Description:

The role of a QC Associate Scientist is a pivotal position within the quality control department, primarily focusing on supporting critical analytical assay activities at our client's site in Neuchâtel. This opportunity allows detail-oriented professionals to contribute significantly to life cycle management, validation, and daily quality control tasks in a cGMP environment.

About the Role:
  1. Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage laboratory investigations and focus on ensuring high-quality results.
    • Critical material qualification and laboratory method transfers are also part of this role.
    • Support daily QC activities following strict guidelines, such as cGMP, company policies, and EHS requirements.
  2. Validation and Qualification Activities:

    • Author transfer protocols and qualification plans/reports for assays and critical reagents.
    • Oversee validation and qualification activities executed by analysts, providing necessary training and support.
    • Execute and document experiments related to these activities.
  3. Investigation Leadership:

    • Investigate laboratory issues to identify solutions or recommend changes.
    • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and investigations to drive improvements.
    • Own laboratory investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  4. Quality Control Support:

    • Apply compliance standards and regulations to assay life cycle management activities.
    • Provide technical and statistical support for daily QC activities as needed.
