Data and Analytics Product Manager

About the Role:

The Data and Analytics Product Manager will play a critical role in MSC Cruises' digital transformation, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver innovative data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and analyze data to produce solution designs.
  • Lead the delivery of analytics projects, managing time, budgets, quality, scope, and risks.
  • Certify project work meets contractual service levels, ensuring quality assessment and incident resolution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, serving as a single point of contact for projects.
  • Provide regular feedback to steering and operational committees.
  • Guarantee team adherence to development standards, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Communicate with line managers, monitor team performance, and facilitate resource allocation.
  • Lead solution implementation with third-party vendors, ensuring project delivery aligns with strategy and business case.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical delivery issues with globally distributed teams.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Develop change and release documentation to support change management processes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in BI and Analytics domain.
  • Proven experience in delivering end-to-end Data Analytics solutions across multiple technologies.
  • Extensive experience with MS SQL and Azure cloud technologies; Oracle is an advantage.
  • Ability to identify risk, probability, impact, and mitigation strategies.
  • Capacity to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Robust leadership skills and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, with additional European language an advantage.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT/IT management, or comparable qualification.

Visa Requirements:

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
