Business & Decision is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to reinforce our Team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for meeting and managing customer needs and expectations. You will manage and facilitate cross-functional teams during business analysis activities, detecting tasks, defining priorities, and managing the execution of tasks. You will also participate in Business Process Modelling, Business Process Improvement, and Data Modelling. Your role will involve bringing Data Management into practice and applying Data Management knowledge areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business & Functional analysis in the context of small and agile up to large-scale implementation projects
  • Experience with Business case analysis, Business process analysis & design, Business requirement analysis & design, Business Solution Definition & Business Architecture Design, Functional analysis, design and testing, Data modelling (classical data modelling as well as star scheme modelling), Business change management
  • Experience in one or more of the following operational or analytical business areas: dashboarding, reporting, data analytics, data architecture, data quality, data science, GDPR compliances
  • Experience in the context of tool implementation: Data Integration (ETL, ELT), Cloud Data solution, Data reporting & analytics, Data Governance (metadata, MDM, data quality)

Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years hands-on experience in Business & Functional analysis
  • Experience with at least 5 of the following domains: Business case analysis, Business process analysis & design, Business requirement analysis & design, Business Solution Definition & Business Architecture Design, Functional analysis, design and testing, Data modelling (classical data modelling as well as star scheme modelling), Business change management
  • Experience in one or more of the following operational or analytical business areas: dashboarding, reporting, data analytics, data architecture, data quality, data science, GDPR compliances
  • Experience in the context of tool implementation: Data Integration (ETL, ELT), Cloud Data solution, Data reporting & analytics, Data Governance (metadata, MDM, data quality)
  • Communication & reporting skills: clearly communicate with user stakeholders at different levels, build trust and credibility
  • Proficient reporting and documentation skills
  • Autonomy and solutions oriented
  • Dynamic team player
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Project Management skills a real asset: planning, cost estimating, and pricing of consulting projects
