Segment Manager

As a Segment Manager at u-blox, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in key industrial and consumer vertical markets in the Americas. This role requires a strong understanding of business development, sales, and marketing strategies, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities within focus segments
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to solve customer challenges and gain market share
- Collaborate with product and strategy managers to ensure alignment with segment needs
- Perform competitive analysis and develop differentiated solutions
- Travel frequently to domestic and international locations (up to 75%)
Requirements
- At least 5 years of business development or sales experience in semiconductor solutions, including cellular modems, GPS/GNSS, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technologies, or connectivity services
- End-to-End Internet of Things systems architecture knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to plan and execute in the short term and long term
- Track record of revenue growth and design wins
