About the Position
The University of Zurich is seeking a highly qualified Research Fellow to join our team in the field of dental materials. As a Research Fellow, you will play a key role in teaching and research activities related to dental materials at the undergraduate level.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver lectures on basic and applied dental materials to undergraduate students
- Contribute to the development of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum in dental materials
- Formulate teaching goals and objectives for dental materials courses
- Design and develop exam questions for dental materials courses
- Supervise hands-on courses and laboratory sessions for students
- Evaluate student assignments and provide feedback
Requirements
- Master or PhD degree in material science or a related field
- Good understanding of medical and dental applications of biomaterials
- Experience in teaching medical and dental biomaterials to undergraduate students
- Excellent didactic skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to students
- Interest in biomaterials research and development
- Highly motivated and responsible, independent, and well-organized working style
- Proficiency in German and English at a professional level
