Datacenter Operations Manager

As a Site Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our cloud services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of subject matter experts to manage and maintain our global datacenter portfolio, comprising over 100 datacenters and 1 million servers.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize datacenter operations, ensuring high availability, safety, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded, while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in datacenter operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with proven experience in mission-critical service management.
- Valid driver's license, with ability to travel between sites.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check and meet customer and government security screening requirements.
- Relevant experience in critical environment infrastructures and physical IT infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience leading a diverse, technical team, with applicable certifications in areas such as ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA Certifications, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications, Leadership Development Certifications, PMP, CDCP.
