About the Role

The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between our clients and the bank. He/she acts externally as an ambassador for the bank and is internally a role model. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth private clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively developing and maintaining a portfolio of clients with a focus on the APAC Market
  • Creating and building trust-based relationships with clients through regular and personalized contacts
  • Responding to all client needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Ascertaining and assessing the client's financial situation and overall objectives
  • Providing general wealth management services to clients, including formulating integrated solutions based on the client's objectives
  • Managing client assets in accordance with the investment guidelines and in coordination with the Advisory Solutions and Investment Management departments
  • Closely monitoring the evolution of the financial markets and adapting the investment strategy accordingly
  • Introducing the bank's products and services to clients, providing them with tailored investment solutions
  • Ensuring adherence and compliance to regulatory procedures

Requirements

  • Proven track-record in acquiring new Ultra High Net Worth relationships through existing networks in the APAC market
  • At least 15 years of experience in advising sophisticated APAC-based clients, managing sizeable books in a Private Banking Financial Institution
  • Investment advisory competence and experience in local equities, bonds, and extensive knowledge in derivative instruments; portfolio management experience would be an asset
  • Broad know-how of global financial markets, economics, and current affairs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
  • In-depth knowledge of the APAC Market, including the legal and regulatory framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a great sense of negotiation
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Recent experience living and working in APAC would be an advantage
  • Enjoy working independently and taking initiatives
  • Business-oriented with the capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Ability to plan, set priorities, and work under pressure
