Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Research Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a crucial role in guiding Arrakis Finance through the latest academic research and advancements in DEX designs and optimal liquidity strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Lead our research team to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies and strategies in decentralized market-making.
  • Academic Publishing: Write and publish research papers and whitepapers on future Arrakis Finance products, presenting your findings in international conferences.
  • Technical Specifications: Collaborate with our CTO to design and develop technical specifications and protocol designs for our market-making infrastructure.
  • Automated Strategies: Design, implement, and optimize automated strategies for liquidity provision, leveraging your expertise in machine learning and data science.
  • Smart Contract Development: Design, build, and test smart contracts, including Uniswap V4 Hooks, to ensure the security and efficiency of our market-making infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Academic Background: PhD in Mathematics or Quantitative Finance, with a solid academic track record and research publications in top journals and international conferences.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in blockchain development (Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry), deep knowledge of Uniswap V3 and V4 smart contracts and libraries, and expertise in machine learning libraries (Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
