Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of Zurich. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our research in neuropsychiatry and biomarkers, with a focus on statistical and methodological approaches.Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of statistical and methodological approaches for biomarker discovery and validation
- Collaborate with the research team to design and conduct studies on neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease
- Supervise graduate and master students and provide training in study-related tasks
- Contribute to the scientific output of the group through publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, such as data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, neurosciences, or pathophysiology
- Advanced knowledge of statistical data modeling, including single-omics and multi-omic data integration, multivariate statistics, and linear mixed effects models
- Excellent scientific track record, including at least one publication as first author in a good quality, peer-reviewed international journal
- Experience in the field of Alzheimer's disease and/or neurodegenerative diseases and biomarker discovery is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, with German desirable
