Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Global Accounting Process Manager for our Record to Report – General Accounting team. As part of the Global Business Process Management Organization in Roche Service & Solutions, you will be responsible for the continuous global harmonization, standardization, and automation of General Accounting processes. Your primary goal will be to safeguard global templates and harmonized processes while developing new ones for upcoming SAP S/4 HANA releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Record-to-Report General Accounting Business Process Management organization in the ASPIRE project, ensuring the global template and harmonized processes are maintained and developed further in collaboration with stakeholders from Finance, Commercials, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Govern and further develop the global month-end and year-end closing template to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a Business Process Specialist for General Accounting, governing changes to existing business processes and designing new ones to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) Operation Centers to drive and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimize business processes regularly to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or finance, with 4-5 years of experience in accounting or related areas.
  • International or global/corporate experience with a proven track record of participating in global projects/initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong SAP skills, particularly in S4 HANA implementation and project management.
  • Business Process Management skills, including analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to work effectively in complex global networks with international teams and stakeholder communities.
