Global Manufacturing Automation Specialist

For one of our clients, an international company in Switzerland, we are looking for a Global Manufacturing Automation Specialist.
The main responsibilities include establishing production capacity at external suppliers, understanding technical details, and managing projects to ensure timely delivery.
We require a highly skilled professional with experience in manufacturing technologies, supplier management, product care, and product development of medical devices or IVD. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to build and manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive decisions and resolve problems.
A strong analytical mind, adaptability, and strategic thinking are essential for this role. Fluency in English and German is required, and willingness to travel mainly within Europe and potentially North America and/or Asia is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish production capacity at external suppliers together with their sub-suppliers.
- Understand technical details to give direction, drive decisions, and keep the project on track.
- Manage projects to ensure timely delivery and robust project and product delivery.
- University Degree in Engineering, Science, or closely related discipline.
- 5-7 years experience in technical project, product, and technical partner management.
- Experience in manufacturing technologies, supplier management, product care, and product development of medical devices or IVD.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and develop multidisciplinary teams in a global environment.
- Strong analytical skills, able to set priorities, drive decisions, and resolve problems.
- Fluency in English and German on a business level.
- Willingness to travel mainly within Europe and potentially North America and/or Asia.
