As a Sales Project Coordinator, your primary objective will be to effectively market maintenance contracts for rail vehicles on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you will manage and guide a multidisciplinary team comprising members from the Stadler Group and our international maintenance sites. Your responsibilities will include preparing proposals, coordinating team efforts, and leading sales discussions with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee cross-location project management for sales initiatives within the Service Division. Collaborate closely with the vehicle sales team on tenders that consider both vehicle acquisition and long-term maintenance. Manage the preparation of customer quotations, including coordination of the quotation team, planning timelines, and ensuring the quality of documentation. Evaluate customer-requested contractual terms, identify associated risks, and propose solutions to mitigate these risks. Engage with external service providers, including consultants and legal advisors. Prepare for and actively participate in sales meetings with management. Contribute to process optimization efforts.Qualifications
Technical degree with further education (FH, equivalent, or higher). Experience in project management and team leadership is advantageous. Strong background in business administration and commercial matters. Excellent coordination skills across various departments to foster effective collaboration. Proven ability to work as part of a team. Industry experience in providing comprehensive solutions for complex services. Familiarity with maintenance concepts applicable to train fleets or similar passenger transport systems. Knowledge of service tenders and contract awarding processes, with the ability to assess risks. Proficient in MS Office applications. Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, independent, decisive, and responsible. Creative problem-solving abilities. Flexibility regarding operational readiness, particularly during bid submission periods. Willingness to travel as required.What We Offer
