The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international economic development issues and be able to lead and manage complex programmes of work and teams. Key responsibilities include directing and managing the organization's work on globalization, the global economy, and related financial issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages complex programmes of work and teams, ensuring that programmed activities are carried out in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates the work of the division with other entities, including academia, development institutions, and civil society.
  • Develops and implements policies and strategies to address international economic development issues.
  • Provides strategic support to intergovernmental meetings related to trade and development areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in economics or a related social sciences field.
  • Deep understanding of international economic development issues.
  • At least five years of experience managing complex programmes of work and teams.
  • Demonstrated intellectual leadership by leading or coordinating analytical publications in the area of development.
