About the Role
The Compliance and Sustainability Manager will lead our EHS activities in Switzerland and oversee Nyon campus EHS & Engineering compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading the EHS & Compliance team to ensure regulatory and EHS & Engineering Global standards are met.
- Monitoring current and potential environment, safety, and health risks.
- Developing mitigation actions and programs to improve EHS & Engineering compliance performance at country and site levels.
- Owning the EHS program for office-based employees, including workplace risk assessment and CAPA.
- Hosting audits conducted by corporate functions, regulatory enforcement authorities, or EHS management systems accreditation/certification bodies.
- Executing Duty Holding roles and building capabilities within Subject Matter Experts and dotted-line Safety Champions across the campus.
- Managing Occupational Health Management Services and designing Site Wellbeing initiatives and programs in partnership with HR.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Science/Engineering degree with an STPS certification.
- At least 10 years' experience in EHS and risk management, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or chemical manufacturing.
- Senior stakeholders' management experience at a country level and globally.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical properties, manufacturing techniques, and ability to assess risks and develop strategies to prevent them.
- An education level that allows strategic understanding and the ability to influence others across the company.
Estimated Salary Range
This role comes with a competitive salary range of CHF 120,000 - CHF 180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
