This position sits within the Ophthalmology team, which is continuously growing and innovating. We partner and collaborate with leading scientific institutions worldwide to tackle grand challenges in ophthalmology.
Your Impact and Main Responsibilities- You will be responsible for leading your specific field and projects of drug development from initial ideas to clinical trials.
- You will define your strategy in alignment with the Head of the group and ensure the delivery of your projects, including budget management and resource allocation.
- You will lead a team of scientists and associates allocated to your projects, inspiring them with your participative leadership style and professionalism.
- In the lab, you will plan, organize, and analyze your experiments to drive innovation and progress.
- You will communicate results about our science in peer-reviewed journals, at scientific meetings, and collaborate with external academic and corporate partners.
We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a PhD in sciences and a minimum of 8 years of research experience in ophthalmology or related fields.
- You should have a strong publication record with articles in high-impact journals.
- You should demonstrate your capability to lead independent research and a team.
- You should be recognized as a key opinion leader in the field and have proven your support in external funding.
