Public Area Host on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

As a Public Area Host at The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Belmond Train, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of luxury and cleanliness in our public areas. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with the broader team will ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the train journey.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure all public areas, including the bar, corridors, and dining areas, are impeccably clean, well-organized, and presentable at all times.
- Guest Experience: Work closely with other staff members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the luxury standards of the train.
- Stock Management: Ensure public areas are stocked with necessary items, such as towels and hygiene products, and replenish them as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Luxury Experience: Previous experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or similar high-end environments is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to maintain public spaces and ensure they reflect the luxury standards of the train.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the broader team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and perform tasks such as cleaning, carrying supplies, and managing public spaces.
- Travel and Passport: Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and possess a European or Swiss passport.
- Language: Conversational English and preferably French, with a basic comprehension of Italian a plus.
