The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a motivated Team Lead Lab Support Services to lead our Lab Support Services Team in Kaiseraugst.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Your workplace would be our customer site, a leading pharmaceutical company in Kaiseraugst. In addition to a competitive basic salary and regular working hours, we offer a performance-based annual bonus and a pension supplement. Interested? Apply now


Working Hours: Monday to Friday, start between 07:00-08:00, 8 hours a day

What You Bring:

Education: Completed vocational training/EFZ as a laboratory technician or logistics specialist

Work Experience: Experience in handling chemicals and their disposal

Preferred Skills:

  • First team leadership experience is desired
  • Knowledge and skills in handling chemicals
  • Reliable and conscientious work ethic
  • Excellent German language skills are a must
  • Good English language skills in writing and speaking are required
  • Good working knowledge of common Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of laboratory rules of conduct (health, safety, environment)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inventory replenishment, delivery, collection, waste disposal, autoclaving, and glassware washing
  • Ordering cleaning and other laboratory supplies and picking up goods
  • Qualified disposal of chemicals and other laboratory waste (cartons, glass, etc.)
  • Distribution of samples, containers, and glassware in the laboratory
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Lab Support Team - adherence to KPIs and ensuring the correct training level
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
