Job Summary

We are seeking an Operational Material Management Specialist to join our MSAT team in Visp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating raw material topics, ensuring harmonized procedures and sharing best practices among different technologies in Lonza Biologics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate general raw material topics to ensure harmonized procedures and sharing best practices among different technologies in Lonza Biologics.
  • Collaborate with Global MSAT and site Quality, Supply Chain and Logistics to maintain and develop the raw material management systems in line with global guidance.
  • Support MSAT's teams with raw material topics.
  • Review and approve deviations and changes concerning general issues related to raw materials.
  • Develop and maintain a training program to ensure MSAT can perform assigned raw material tasks.
  • Monitor and develop the performance of the raw material processes.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Biotechnology or scientific discipline (Chemistry/ Engineering/ Analytics/Biochemistry).
  • Min. of 2-5 years of experience as an MSAT Operational Material Management Specialist.
  • Experience in biopharma manufacturing.
  • Very good planning and organization skills.
  • Team player able to work independently in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
