Customer Supplier Materials Coordinator

The Customer Supplier Materials Coordinator is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the supply of Customer Supplier Materials. Perform all duties to ensure the Customer Supplier Materials Requirements Plans are completed, to ensure the timely availability of materials, and communication to all relevant stakeholders to drive short term execution of Plans. Responsible to liaise with all key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes to plans or material availability issues

Key responsibilities:

- Create, track and maintain the short term schedules to provide visibility to defined departments, to drive short term execution of plans
- Incorporate input from all relevant departments to ensure schedules are realistic within relevant constraints and latest information
- Liaison with Supply Planner and Schedulers to ensure all material plans are up to date and responsive to changes in material requirements
- Ensure all feedback regarding changes to existing plans is incorporated into schedules in timely manner
- Conversion of the material requirements plan (purchase requisitions) into Purchase Orders
- Generate relevant KPI and operational measures to support identification of trends or root causing of sub-optimal performance
- Expediting material availability through liaison with procurement and teams involved with inbound material processing
- Negotiate and support all material supply agreements with customers

Key requirements:

- Academic degree (Bachelor or higher) in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
- Fluency in German and English
- Working experience
- APICS certificate would be an asset
- Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support inventory management/ strategy recommendations
- Ability to use production scheduling systems
